Ali Royer will perform God Bless America and the National Anthem at The Orleans 222 NASCAR Grand National Division, Winston West Series April 12 at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. After a remarkable performance at a Support the Troops rally in Summerlin Wednesday, Royer was asked to perform God Bless America live on KMXB-FM Mix 94.1 Thursday morning. Another outstanding performance merited the 15-year-old Las Vegas Academy student numerous listener compliments. LVMS officials were impressed by Royer¿s performance and decided to provide an opportunity for local residents to experience her performance live. ¿Ali¿s rendition of God Bless America is truly inspirational,¿ said Andy Adamcik, LVMS¿ manager of short track racing. ¿At this time in America's history, her version brings the sense of patriotism in everyone to the forefront. We are excited and honored to have Ali perform both God Bless America and the National Anthem at our premiere short track event.¿ ARCA Trucks and Thunder Roadsters will accompany the NASCAR Grand National Division, Winston West Series for The Orleans 222. Spectator gates open at 4 p.m. A driver autograph session including Royer is set for 5:30 p.m. with main events beginning at 6:45 p.m. Royer will perform God Bless America prior to the Thunder Roadster main event at 6:40 p.m. and the National Anthem prior to the NASCAR race at 7:50 p.m. General admission prices are $19 for adults, $15 senior citizens/ military personnel and $10 for children ages 6-12. Children five and under are free.
