The annual Chris Trickle Father¿s Day Double-header will be commemorated this Saturday night at The Orleans NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The second annual Father¿s Day Bowling Tournament also is on the schedule of events. ¿It should be a nice night, and I¿m really looking forward to it,¿ Chuck Trickle said of the event. This is the first year the Father¿s Day Double-header has carried his late son¿s name. Trickle hopes to post his fourth Super Late Models win of the 2003 season this weekend. Five of his 11 career victories were earned at the annual event. Trickle leads Scott Gafforini by 23 points in the 2003 Super Late Model standings. Fathers can sign up under the grandstands until 7:00 pm to get their chance to compete in the Father¿s Day Bowling Tournament. Five fathers will be chosen from the entries, and every father chosen will win a prize. The grand prize winner will receive a prize pack courtesy of LVMS and 600 Racing West. Bandolero Cars (10 laps), Thunder Roadsters presented by Tri-State Petroleum and VP Racing Fuels (15 laps), Legends Cars (20 laps), Late Models (25 laps), 7-Elven Bullring Bombers (50 laps) and Super Late Models (twin 30¿s) are scheduled to race. Other point leaders include Glen Burke (Late Models), Ken Kulikowski (IMCA Modifieds), Rick Rogas (Master Legends), Michael Fredericks (Pro Legends), Taylor Barton (Semi-Pro Legends), Dave Green (Thunder Roadsters), Doug Matter (Chargers), Jonathan Mawhinney (Bandoleros), and Troy Rawling (Bombers). Spectator gates open at 6:00pm. General admission is $10 for adults, $8 for senior citizens/military personnel and $3 for children ages 6-12. Children five and under are free.
