Inaugural Mascot Night at the Bullring Saturday

     Mascots from around Las Vegas will join Las Vegas Motor Speedway¿s mascot Pit Boss Saturday at the Bullring for the inaugural Mascot Night as part of the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series.

     Mascots invited to participate include: The Duke (Las Vegas Wranglers), Happy House  (KB Home), Gladius (Las Vegas Gladiators), Big Al (The Orleans Hotel and Casino), Cosmo (Las Vegas 51s) and Hey Reb University of Nevada at Las Vegas).

     The mascots will compete in a scooter race before the feature events and visit with race fans throughout the night.

     The Super Late Models return to the track after a week off for a 50-lap race, joining the Semi-Pro Legends Cars (25 laps), Pro/Master Legends Cars (25 laps), Thunder Roadsters (25 laps), Bandolero Cars (20 laps), 7-Eleven Bullring Bombers (40 laps) and the Late Models (25 laps) on the racing card.

     Spectator gates open at 6 p.m. Qualifying is set for 6:20 with racing at 7:15. General admission is $11 for adults, $9 for senior citizens/ military personnel and $4 for children 6-12. Children five and under are free. A Family Four Pack can be purchased for $24. Admission to the Stockyard is $36 per vehicle (up to four people). Pit gates open at 3:30 p.m. Admission is $20 for NASCAR members and $25 for non-members.
