In order to accommodate fans wanting to watch the NASCAR Nextel Cup Sharpie 500 from Bristol Motor Speedway (live on TNT, 4:30 p.m. Pacific), the Bullring will move all race activities back two hours with racing starting at 9 p.m. This special Bullring event, named The Bristol Bash, produces a later start time for the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Spectator gates open at 8 p.m. and qualifying is set for 8:20. Sudden Impact Auto Body IMCA Modifieds (30 laps) and Chargers (30 laps) return after a one-week break. Also on the racing card are Thunder Roadsters (25 laps), Bandolero Cars (20 laps), Late Models (30 laps) and 7-Eleven Bullring Bombers (40 laps). The division points battles heat up as the season nears its end. The closest battle this week is in the Chargers division, Tom Youmans holds a 10-point lead over Fred Kiser Jr. General admission is $11 for adults, $9 for senior citizens/ military personnel and $4 for children 6-12. Children five and under are free. A Family Four Pack can be purchased for $24. Admission to the Stockyard is $36 per vehicle (up to four people). Pit gates open at 5:30 p.m. Admission is $20 for NASCAR members and $25 for non-members.
