The Faster Pastor race and food drive will return to the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway as part of the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series.

Church leaders will compete in the 7-Eleven Bullring Bombers for bragging rights and to raise food donations for local charities.  The 20-lap feature lineup will be determined by the number of non-perishable food items donated by each church.  Church members and race fans are encouraged to bring food donations to the track; collections tables will be set up identifying each church.  All food donations will be given back to each church to be donated to its selected charity.

Race fans that bring canned goods will receive a $2 discount on adult admission.

Headlining Saturday¿s race card is a 40-lap feature for the Late Models.  Joining the Late Models will be Chargers, IMCA Modifieds, Legends Cars and Bullring Bombers.

Pit gates open at 2:00 p.m.  Spectator gates open at 4 p.m. Heat races are set for 5:15 p.m. with racing at 7:15.   The Faster Pastor race is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.

Adult general admission is $12.  Local fans are admitted at $10 with a valid Nevada license for adults.  Admission for senior citizens, military personnel with ID and college students with ID is $8.  Children 6-12 are $5 and kids five and under are free.  A Family Four Pack may be purchased for $24.  The Crazy 8s package is also available this season which offers race fans eight tickets for $8 each.
