The Chris Trickle Doubleheader returns to the Bullring Saturday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway as the best local racers compete in the 11th round of the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series.

This is the seventh year for the Father's Day doubleheader and the third year it has carried the name of the late Chris Trickle.  Trickle, a racing prodigy and regular at the Bullring, passed away in 1998 from lung complications after a random shooting in 1997.

The first 200 fathers through the gates will receive a free pair of work gloves.

Super Late Models will open and close the racing action with a pair of 30-lap features. Joining the Super Late Models will be the Chargers (30 laps), Legends Cars (25 laps), Bullring Bombers (40 laps) and the Bandoleros.

Pit gates will open at 3:30 p.m.  Spectator gates open at 5 p.m. Qualifying is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. with opening ceremonies taking place at 7:15 p.m.

Adult general admission is $12.  Local adults are admitted for $10 with a valid Nevada license.  Admission for senior citizens, military personnel with ID and college students with ID is $8.  Children 6-12 are $5 and kids five and under are free.  A Family Four Pack may be purchased for $24.  The Crazy 8s package is also available this season which offers race fans eight tickets for $8 each.
