The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will continue its efforts in collecting donations to benefit victims of Hurricane Katrina on Saturday.
With the help of Super Late Model driver Charlie Wahl, Off the Wahl Designs and K&K Bowling Services, those who donate money this weekend will receive a vinyl hand decal on which they can write a message or simply sign their names.  These hands will be placed on Charlie Wahl's No. 52 Super Late Model car during the 50-lap feature event.
Please visit the Red Cross table under the grandstands from 5-8 p.m. if you wish to participate.
Last weekend during Mascot Night, the Super Late Model drivers helped to collect $2,870.66.
The money collected will be turned over to the Southern Nevada Chapter of the American Red Cross. The money then will be sent to Red Cross chapters in the Gulf Coast region.
The Red Cross has asked for monetary donations instead of clothing or canned goods due to the cost of transporting the material cross country.
