Q. How do you make a good thing even better?

A. Throw some extra cash into the mix.

The Bullring - Las Vegas Motor Speedway's 3/8-mile asphalt short track - will present another action-packed night of short-track racing thrills on Saturday, April 21.  Racing action on the 3/8-mile asphalt oval will feature Super Late Models, Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Chargers and Bullring Bombers.  For Saturday night's show, the Bullring will add a $100 "mystery bonus" to one of the top-five finishing positions in each of the feature races.  A drawing from 1-5 during each race will determine which position will receive the $100 bonus.

Also on the evening's card is a $1,000-to-win demolition derby.  Entrants will crash into each other in brightly-painted junk cars until only one is left running.  The demolition derby will pay $1,000 to the winner, $300 for second place and $200 to the third-place contestant.  Entry fee is only $25.

The popular, annual Keith Danser Kids' Candy Toss will take place on this night.  The promotion, named after former Bullring driver (and the man who instituted the candy toss) Keith Danser, will feature free candy for all young Bullring fans.

Ed "Outlaw" Jones will perform exhibition "wheelies" in his Jelly Belly fire truck wheelstander.  There also will be face painting and balloon artists for the kids.

An autograph session will take place from 5-5:45 p.m.

Spectator gates will open at 5 p.m.  Qualifying is set for 5:05 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m.  General admission is $10 for adults, $8 for senior citizens and military personnel with ID and $5 for children ages 6-12.  Children five and under are free.  A Family Four Pack may be purchased for $26.  The Bullring concession stand offers $1 hot dogs and $1 beer every Saturday night.
