 Pre-Event Parking and Tech Inspection: Pre-event parking will take place Wednesday, November 7 from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm.  All pre-entered racers can park at this time as well as purchase credentials for every day of the event. This is for pre-entered racers only!  Pre-event tech inspection will take place Wednesday, November 7 from 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm. All pre-entered racers may complete their tech inspections as this time. This is for pre-entered racers only!

Pit Area Parking: Pit area parking will be on a first come, first served basis. All reserved spaces will be marked with a large, orange dot near the pit stall number.  RVs are permitted in the pit area; however there is NO overnight camping allowed.  The closest RV parks are located at Circus Circus on the Strip and Sam's Town on Nellis Blvd.  Trailers may be left in the pit area overnight.  The pit area will be secured each night of the event.  You may also leave your trailers in the pit area Saturday night and pick them up Sunday morning.  All trailers must be removed from the Bullring pit area by 7:00 am Monday morning.

Pit Area Rules: Open-toed shoes are not permitted in the pit area.  Personal (non-tow) vehicles must be parked in your pit stall or parked in the lot located outside of the pit area.  There is no minimum age in the pit area.  All minors must have a signed minor's release to enter the pit area.  Bicycles are the only means of transportation in the pits.  No motorized vehicles are permitted.  No pets of any kind are allowed inside the gates at The Bullring.

Tech Inspection: All cars must go through tech inspection prior to taking the track for practice.  A cubic inch check will be performed to assign the weight in which you will compete at.  Please do not start your engine until you have completed the cubic inch check.  Engines must be cool for accurate readings.  Once you have completed the initial tech inspection, you will not be required to go through tech until before and after qualifying and before and after feature events.  Scales will be setup all weekend for your use in reaching your proper weight for the event.

 Race Procedures:
1. All cars must go through tech prior to making a qualifying attempt.
2. All cars will receive the green flag the first time by the flag stand during qualifying.
3. Race start and re-start area is the lines painted across the track in turn 4.
4. On initial start, all cars must stay behind the car in front until crossing the start finish line, no passing.
5. On single file restarts, cars may pass on the outside prior to the start/finish line only after green is displayed.
6. Any car jumping the start will be penalized to the last car on the lead lap at the next caution or end of the race.
7. The leader must maintain the speed of the pace car until the green is displayed or be penalized to the rear.
8. Any driver causing two single car yellows will be disqualified from that race.
9. Rough driving will not be tolerated.  Any driver causing a wreck in the first 3 laps of an event will be disqualified from the event.
10. Move over flag will be used.  Lapped traffic must move to the outside to let the leaders pass.
11. Pit area speed limit is 5 mph for all vehicles.  Golf carts, scooters, quads, or any other motorized vehicles are not allowed in the pits.
12. Cars may be worked on in the pit area during a race and the car may return to the track.

SUPER LATE MODELS
Competition Rules and Car Eligibility: This event will be run in accordance with the applicable LVMS rules, the provisions of this Entry Form, special rules applicable to this event and any amendment made prior to the race date.  In the event of a conflict between the LVMS rules and the Entry Form, the LVMS Tech Director's decision will be final.  Tech Cards: All cars must pass tech inspection before entering the track for practice or qualifying. Pre-tech does not constitute a legal car. All information on all tech cards, including Social Security Numbers, Name, Division, Car Number, Date of Birth, and Sponsors must be completed and turned in when car is presented for Pre-tech.

Tires and Wheels: Hoosier 2040 is the only tire permitted.  Tires may not be altered in any way.  Tires may be replaced after practice.  Qualifying tires must be used to start the feature event in which the car initially qualifies in to.  Only steel wheels with a maximum width of 10 inches are permitted

Weight: At all times cars must meet weight with gas, oil and water.  All weights are taken with driver in the car.  (LVMS Spec Engine - 2,850 lbs.; Non-Spec Engine (less than 360 c.i.d.) approximate weight 2,975 lbs.; Non-Spec Engine (more than 360 c.i.d.) approximate weight 3,100 lbs.; Dry Sump System penalty - add 50 lbs.).

Left side weight may not exceed 58%.  Any car competing with wheelbase less than 105 inches may not exceed 56%.  Final weight will be determined after cubic inch and compression check.

Tread width: Maximum tread width permitted is 68 inches measured at the center of the tires at spindle height.

Carburetors: All cars must compete with a Holley 4412, 2 barrel carburetor.

Engines: For LVMS Engine information, please call 702-632-8223.  Non-Spec Engines: 1. Maximum compression ratio is 11:1. 50 lb Penalty if higher than 11:1. 2. Roller lifters are not permitted.  3. Cars competing with the Irwindale Brodix head must compete with the following properly installed phenolic spacer: Irwindale P/N 150 or Rockwell Racing P/N 2852.  4. No other aluminum heads or blocks permitted.

Fuel: All cars must run LVMS approved VP Racing Fuel, 100 octane.  No additives or any kind.

Race Format: All cars must draw for group qualifying position prior to 2:30 pm Friday.  Each car will receive 4 laps of qualifying.  Failure to present car in order will result in the loss of 1 lap.  Top 16 qualifiers transfer directly to the A-Feature.  Remaining qualifiers will be transfer to 1 of 3 heat races. The top 2 from each heat race will transfer to the A-main.  The top 3 from the B-main will transfer to the A-main.  Starting Positions for each feature event are based on qualifying times.  No inverts will be used for this event.

MODIFIEDS
Competition Rules and Car Eligibility: This event will be run in accordance with the applicable LVMS rules and any amendments prior to the race date. In the event of a conflict the LVMS Manager of Competition's decision will be final. LVMS has the right to change or modify the rules at anytime to insure fairness of competition.  Tech Cards: All cars must pass tech inspection before entering the track for practice or qualifying. Pre-tech does not constitute a legal car. All information on all tech cards, including Social Security Numbers, Name, Division, Car Number, Date of Birth, and Sponsors must be completed and turned in when car is presented for Pre-tech.  General: This is NOT an IMCA sanctioned event; however, all cars competing must conform to the 2006 IMCA Modified asphalt rules, with the exceptions listed below:

1. Official Tire and Wheel: Hoosier Tire 970 is the only tire permitted.  Tires may not be altered in any way.  All wheels must have the "IMCA Approved" decal.
2, Weight: The IMCA minimum weight limit of 2,500 pounds, with driver, with a maximum of 57% left side weight.  Cars competing with Aluminum Heads must weigh 2,600 pounds with driver, with a maximum of 56% left side weight.
3. Engine Claim: There is no Engine Claim for this event.
4. Mirrors: All cars are allowed to use a center mount mirror for this event.  Driver's side mirrors will not be allowed.
5. Radios: Radios are not permitted for this event
6. Driver Eligibility: All drivers must be 16 years of age or older. Any driver that is under the age of 18 must have a parental release signed by parent or guardian. If parent or guardian is not present when the release is turned into LVMS the release must be notarized.

Race Format: All cars must draw for group qualifying position prior to 2:30 pm Friday.  Each car will receive 4 laps of qualifying.  Failure to present car in order will result in the loss of 1 lap.  Top 16 qualifiers transfer directly to the A-Main.  Remaining qualifiers will be transferred to the Last Chance Race.
Top 9 finishers from the Last Chance race transfer to the rear of the A-Feature.  Starting positions for each feature event are based on qualifying times.  No inverts will be used for this event.
