If your last name is Brown, you have one more reason to cheer for the famous horse Saturday afternoon.  Big Brown, winner of the 2008 Kentucky Derby and the Preakness, will be shooting for the Triple Crown Saturday in the 140th annual Belmont Stakes.  If Big Brown wins, anyone whose last name is Brown will be admitted free Saturday evening to the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Even if Big Brown does not win the Belmont Stakes, many fans will be able to attend free-of-charge as the Bullring presents Whelen Police and Firefighter Appreciation Night at the 3/8-mile asphalt oval.  All police officers and firefighters will receive free admission with ID.  The first 300 fans through the spectator admission gate will receive a free doughnut courtesy of Dunkin' Donuts.

Classes in competition Saturday will include the Super Late Model/Late Model Combo class, Legends Cars, Chargers, Thunder Roadsters, Modifieds and Bandoleros.

The Bullring's family-friendly dollar menu also includes $1 soda and $1 beer.  Adult admission is $10; $8 for senior citizens and military personnel with ID, kids 6-12 are $5.  Kids 5 and under are free.  Spectator gates will open at 5 p.m.
