Short track racing is headed back to The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this weekend as U.S. Legend Cars International hosts The Showdown at LVMS Thursday through Saturday.
Some of the country's most talented U.S. Legend Cars drivers will be in Las Vegas to compete in the three-day event. Reigning Bullring Legends-Masters Champion Michael Todd Glazier, K&N West Series driver Kole Raz, U.S. Legends Cars 2015 Masters runner-up Scotty Scott and Parker Steele from the Steele off-road racing family are expected to compete at the beloved 3/8-mile paved oval.
Practice begins at 10:15 a.m. Pacific Time each day, with features starting at 2:45 p.m., and admission to the event is free. Seven classes of racing - Young Lions, Semi-Pro, Bandits, Outlaws, Thunder Cars, Masters and Pro - will be in action throughout the weekend.
The event kicks off The Bullring's 2016 competitive schedule that runs through November, and the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series season-opener is slated for Saturday, March 26.
