Scott Gafforini won his second consecutive 50-lap NASCAR Super Late Model feature of the season tonight at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Gafforini waged a race-long battle with Jay Beasley and early race leader Mark Shackelford. The lead changed hands many times over the 50 laps but at the checkered flag it was Gafforini, closely followed by Beasley, Shackelford, Warren Knipper and David Anderson. The win was recorded as the 51st victory for Gafforini's 16-year-old car.

Phil Goodwin was leading the 30-lap NASCAR Super Stock feature until he spun in Turn 2 on lap 17. James Wingard took the lead, followed by Kayli Barker - but Goodwin was back up to third place by lap 22. And that’s how they finished, followed across the finish line by Matt Cunningham, Chuck Burgess and rookie John Spilotro. Wingard also won the eight-lap Super Stock heat race.

The 30-lap NASCAR Bomber feature was decided in the post-race tech barn. The car of Don Sargent, apparent winner of the race, was protested. Sargent refused to tear down his engine and the win was awarded to Pete Meyer, who finished second. Nathan Boss was moved up to second place and Vincent Raucci Jr. was scored in third place. NASCAR Bomber heats were won by Marty Deluca and Martin Sullins.

Jarid Blondel of Orange, Calif., charged up through the pack and took the lead on lap 3 of the 30-lap USAC Ignite Midget Series feature. Blondel was running away with the feature until he tangled with a lapped car on lap 27 and crashed in Turn 4. He was not injured. Bryant Dawson, who was running in second place, inherited the lead, held off Shawn Buckley and Cody Jessop and went on to win. USAC Ignite Series Midget heat races were won by Blondel and Dawson.

The 20-lap Thunder Car feature was won by Ian Anderson – his 11th victory of the 2013 season. With just one points race remaining in the 2013 Bullring season, Anderson is undefeated. Jacob Tilton finished second and Nick D’Egidio was third.

Sam Jacks won the 12-lap IAPMO Silver Star Plumbing PHCC Bandolero Outlaw feature ahead of Niko Mongenel and Kailey Boersma. Dezel West won the 12-lap IAPMO Silver Star Plumbing PHCC Bandits feature. Phillip Root finished second and Caden Carlin was third.

Young fans were treated to free candy distributed by their favorite drivers tonight. The popular annual Keith Danser Candy Toss is named for former Bullring Super Stock driver Keith Danser, who instituted the promotion in 2002. Although Danser retired from racing and moved away from the Las Vegas area, the tradition continues on in his name.

Kaela Jonson-Smith of Las Vegas sang the national anthem. On-track interviews: Hannah Rickards. Announcers: Michael Price and Allen Michaels of KLAV-AM 1230.
