Speedway Children’s Charities will host several family-friendly fundraising events during the Night of Fire at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Thursday. Fans can have fun dunking their favorite local Bullring drivers, racing go-karts and more to benefit the children of Southern Nevada.

Sun Buggy is partnering with the charity to provide go-kart racing to fans throughout the night. Come race your friends and family on the LVMS go-kart track, located behind the grandstands for only $10 (5 laps). For more information on Sun Buggy, please visit www.sunbuggy.net.

Fans can help local Bullring drivers cool off at the SCC dunk tank located just beneath the grandstands. Drivers scheduled to participate include: Gary Griffiths Jr., Jim Petrie, Devin Mack, Frank McCourt, Ian Anderson, Casey Kingsland, Jeff Connors, Dustin Ash, Michael and Austin Morris and Dallas Simonette. Fans can try their luck for $1 per ball.

SCC also will be hosting a bounce house as well as a raffle throughout the night.

Making a difference in a child's life is the focus of Speedway Children's Charities. SCC strives to do this in collaboration with the non-profit organizations it supports nationwide. Individually, SCC's local chapters identify the needs of children in their communities and award grants to organizations that address them. Last December, the Las Vegas Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities granted $275,000 to 78 local children's causes during its annual grant distribution ceremony.
