David Stetzer




David Stetzer was named vice president of operations for Las Vegas Motor Speedway in June of 2002. David came to the speedway after spending 10 years at Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte, NC and 3 years in charge of short track racing at LVMS. David is responsible for security, traffic planning and public safety for all major events held at LVMS. He works closely with all of the traffic planning and law enforcement agencies serving Clark County to ensure that fans have a safe and enjoyable visit while attending events at LVMS. David began his career at Lowe's Motor Speedway in 1989 as the track rental coordinator. In 1993 he was promoted to general manager of 600 Racing. in charge of the manufacture and distribution of Legends Cars. David graduated from Slippery Rock University in 1989, where he majored in sport management. A native of Butler, P.A., David and his wife Maria have 3 children.
