The competition will be even more intense during the Las Vegas Dirt Classic at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with the addition of National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame driver Billy Moyer to the entry list.  Moyer will head west from Batesville, Ark., to compete at LVMS' half-mile dirt track March 8-9 during NASCAR Weekend.

The five-time winner of the "World 100" is scheduled to compete in the Western Allstars Late Model Series that will feature a $3,000 to win, $500 to start and 30-lap features both nights.
This will be Moyer's first trip to the Dirt Track at LVMS.

"I have not been to the dirt track in Las Vegas but I am looking forward to it," said Moyer.  "I have run at the dirt tracks at Lowes Motor Speedway and Texas Motor Speedway so I am hoping that will help me a bit."
Moyer is heading into the 2007 season after tremendous success in 2006.  In the seventy-four events that Moyer entered in 2006, he collected seven wins, twenty-nine top-five finishes, and forty-eight top-10 finishes.

He will be driving a car for Late Model front-runner Mike Johnson of Lompoc, Calif.

"This will be the first time I have fielded a car for Mike (Johnson) but feel confident with all that he has accomplished as a driver."

Spectator gates open each day at 4 p.m. with qualifying at 5 p.m. and the first heat race at 6 p.m.
