Pro Bracket (PRO): 7.00-14.50 second dial-ins; .5 Full Tree; optional staging. No electronic devices permitted. Transbrake and line-lock permitted.

Sportsman Bracket (SPT): 12.00-21.00 second dial-ins; .5 Full Tree; optional staging. No electronic devices. Muffler(s) required.

E.T. Motorcycle (MC): 7.50-15.99 second dial-ins; .4 Pro Tree; optional staging. No electronics (throttle stops/delay boxes) permitted. Also open to INEX Legend Cars, ATVs and snowmobiles.

Tow Vehicles: Not permitted in Pro and Sportsman classes once the car has reached the back of the staging lanes. Cars are permitted to tow back to their pits once they have exited the racing surface.

Points Participation: All drivers must sign up for participation in the Las Vegas Motor Speedway points program and pay the $40 program membership registration fee before any points will be counted in the 2013 championship total. There is no grace period to sign-up for points. Points tally begins when registration form is turned in.

NHRA King of the Track: The Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman and Motorcycle winners from Saturday, Sept. 14 will face off against the 2012 LVMS track champions on Sunday, Sept. 15 in eliminations contested during time trials to determine the 2013 King of the Track.

2013 Point Distribution System – The Strip at LVMS will distribute championship series points as follows for the 2013 season:
16 points to compete in the first round of eliminations.
10 points for each round win during race eliminations.
5 bonus points for the race elimination winner.
2 bonus points for the race elimination runner-up.

Any driver who breaks prior to first round of eliminations will receive 6 points after passing tech inspection.

Tie-breakers:
• First tie-breaker will be based off of total number of points scored in all 9 events.
• Second tie-breaker will be based on total number of round wins in all 9 events.
• Third tie-breaker will be based on total number of final round wins.
• Fourth tie-breaker will be total number of runner-up finishes.
• Fifth tie-breaker will be total number of semi-final appearances.

Team Las Vegas at E.T. Finals – The top five total point earners in each category will represent The Strip at LVMS in the Race of Champions at the E.T. Finals in Las Vegas.

E.T. Finals at LVMS – More information to follow on the 2013 E.T. Finals to be held here. You must be a member of the LVMS points program and earn points in at least two (2) qualifying events (listed above) in order to race as a member of the team at this event. We will be allowed two (2) teams of 40 racers each.

2013 Short Line Express Market Jr. Drag Racing Series
The 2013 LVMS Short Line Express Market Jr. Dragster Championship Series will consist of nine (9) points-paying events. The overall 2013 track championship will be based on a driver's seven (7) best finishes in the nine (9) points events. Championships will be awarded in Jr. Thunder and Jr. Lightning classes.

2013 Jr. Dragster points series class structure:
Jr. Dragster Lightning: Ages 13 and older. Restricted to dial-in of 7.90 sec. and slower.
Jr. Dragster Thunder: Ages 8-12. 8.90 and slower.

Jr. Dragster point membership: All participants must obtain an LVMS membership in order to participate in the 2013 point program. The $25 membership fee includes points, participant decal and eligibility for special awards. Points will not be tabulated until after a participant signs up for membership. Points earned prior to sign-up will not transfer. There is no grace period for membership. Points will not be tabulated until membership is complete. A child’s age on the first scheduled date of the series will determine the class he is participating in for the remainder of the season. If a child wishes to move up in category following their birthday they can do so, however, points earned in the first class cannot transfer to the new class.
