The latest edition of Midnight Mayhem at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will take place on Friday, Nov. 15.  Previous Midnight Mayhem events have averaged 400 cars and bikes -- and over 2,000 spectators.

The late-night program is designed to attract illegal street racers to the safer environment of The Strip at LVMS.  

            Midnight Mayhem is open to any licensed driver with a currently registered car or motorcycle with proof of insurance.  Vehicles must be driven (not towed) to the track.  Drivers under the age of 18 are required to present a completed parental consent form.  Gates will open at   8 p.m., with racing from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.  Entry fee is $10.  Spectator admission is $5.

            Each Midnight Mayhem, supported by Titan Auto Insurance, features a nightclub DJ and import aftermarket car show provided by Maximum Performance.

The final Midnight Mayhem of the 2002 season will take place on Dec. 6.  Midnight Mayhem will continue in the 2003 season, beginning on March 15.
