After being shut out of the win column on Saturday, two local racers regained some turf as The Strip at LVMS closed its 2002 NHRA Jr. Dragster season on Sunday, Nov. 17. Tristan Craig of Henderson defeated Ryen Lamb for Jr. Dragster 8-9 honors. Stephanie Crifasi of Las Vegas defeated Jessica Ruell for the victory in the Jr. Dragster 13-14 division. Nicholas Verlingo of Alta Loma, Calif., won his second Jr. Dragster 10-12 final round of the weekend by defeating Jett Dwyer of Palmdale, Calif. Neisha McKay of Sandy, Utah, defeated Henderson's Kayla Sewell for the NHRA Castrol 10th Anniversary Jr. Dragster 15-17 trophy.
