Memorial Weekend Classic at The Strip at LVMS May 23-25 features PSCA, Outlaw Eliminator Super Quick Series,

Titan Auto Insurance Midnight Mayhem

 

 

            The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will be dark this weekend in preparation for the three-day Memorial Weekend Classic May 23-25.  The holiday weekend begins Friday evening with a Test 'n' Tune session, followed by Titan Auto Insurance Midnight Mayhem ¿ The Strip's safe alternative to illegal street racing ¿ at 10 p.m.  On Saturday, the Pacific Street Car Association (PSCA) and The Strip's Outlaw Eliminator class will hold qualifying runs from 5:30-11 p.m.  The Strip will open at noon on Sunday with eliminations at 7 p.m.

 

Friday, May 23

10 a.m. -- Gates open, pit parking.

2:30 p.m. -- Tech inspection begins.

5:30 p.m. -- Test 'n' Tune ($30 per car).

9:15 p.m. -- Staging lanes closed.

9:45 p.m. -- Test 'n' Tune concludes.

10 p.m.-2 a.m. -- Titan Auto Insurance Midnight Mayhem ($10 for racers, $5 for spectators). Admission includes International All Stars car show, DJ and midway attractions.

 

Saturday, May 24

Noon -- Gates open, pit parking for new arrivals.

2:30 p.m. -- Tech inspection begins.

5:30 p.m. ¿ First round of Outlaw Eliminator (Super Quick) qualifying.

6 p.m. ¿ First round of PSCA qualifying.

6:30 p.m. ¿ Second round of Outlaw Eliminator (Super Quick) qualifying.

7:30 p.m. ¿ Outlaw Eliminator (Super Quick) eliminations.

8:30 p.m. ¿ Second round of PSCA qualifying.

11 p.m. -- Burnout contest. 

 

Sunday, May 25

Noon -- Gates open, parking for new arrivals.

2:30 p.m. -- Tech inspection (closes at 5:30 p.m.).

4 p.m. ¿ Final qualifying for PSCA (if needed).

5:30 p.m. ¿ First round of Outlaw Eliminator (Super Quick) qualifying.

6:30 p.m. ¿ Second round of Outlaw Eliminator (Super Quick) qualifying.

7 p.m. -- Eliminations for all classes.

 

ADMISSION, ENTRY FEES

PSCA Weekend Entry: $70 (includes Test 'n' Tune and Saturday/Sunday Race).

PSCA Weekend Crew: $40 (includes Friday Test 'n' Tune and Saturday/Sunday Race).

 

Weekend senior citizen/military personnel/high school student: $25 (includes Friday Test 'n' Tune and Saturday/Sunday Race).

 

Weekend kids pass: $15 (includes Friday Test 'n' Tune and Saturday/Sunday Race).

 

PSCA race-only entry: $40 (sold Saturday and Sunday only -- Friday must pay for weekend entry).

 

Two-day crew/spectator pass: $30 (sold on Saturday only).

Saturday-only spectator ticket: $20.

Saturday-only senior citizen/military personnel/high school student: $15.

Saturday-only children 6-12: $6.

Sunday-only spectator ticket: $20.

Sunday-only senior citizen/military personnel/high school student: $15.

Sunday-only children 6-12: $6.

Outlaw Eliminator (Super Quick): $100 (car and driver one-day entry, or $200 for both races).

Friday night Test 'n' Tune: $30.                

 

Weekend camping permit: $20 (required for any vehicle with overnight occupants).
