Entry forms available for 2003 Las Vegas Bracket Nationals Nov. 14-16 at The Strip;

Racers entered by Nov. 7 deadline will receive discounts, preferred parking

 

 

Entry forms are now available for the 2003 Las Vegas Bracket Nationals to be held Nov. 14-16 at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The three-day event will pay $5,000 to the winner of the Super Pro category and $1,000 to winner of the Pro Bracket class each day.

            More than 250 participants competed in the 2002 edition of the event.  Jim Bruns of Bremerton, Wash., won the weekend points honors in the Super Pro class and Mark Kidd of Meridian, Ida., captured the Pro title.

¿Last year¿s event was assembled at the last minute and we were surprised at the incredible support we received from the drag racing community,¿ said Chris Blair, LVMS¿ director of drag racing operations.  ¿Drivers traveled from all over the western U.S. to support the event and it produced one of the greatest weekend of bracket racing ever held on the west coast.  We¿ve increased the size of the 2003 event and we will continue to grow this race for many years to come.¿

Super Pro racers who pre-register by the Nov. 7 deadline will receive a discount weekend entry fee of $200.  Pre-entered Pro racers will receive a $100 weekend entry fee.  Pre-registered racers also will be eligible for early Pro pit parking and early tech inspection on Thursday, Nov. 13.
