Eliminations for the season-ending Pacific Street Car Association (PSCA) World Finals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway have been postponed due to rain and cold.  The field has been frozen and will the event will be concluded on Friday, February 25, 2005, on the first day of the 2005 PSCA season-opener at The Strip.
 
Also falling victim to the weather was The Strip's 2004 Outlaw Super Quick finale, which also was to be held today.  Due to the cancellation, points leader Carl Cannavo of N. Las Vegas has been declared 2004 Super Quick champion.
 
The Strip's 2004 drag racing season will conclude Thanksgiving Weekend with the B&M Bracket Nationals, Nov. 25-28.

B&M event pays $5,000 to win Super Pro final each day

 

 

The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will present the annual B&M Las Vegas Bracket Nationals Nov. 25-28.  The four-day Thanksgiving weekend event will pay $5,000 to the Super Pro winner each day.  Each day¿s Pro division winner will take home $1,000.  The holiday event features three classes: Super Pro, Pro and Street/Sport Compact.

Mark Kidd (Super Pro) and Bob Coulter (Pro) are defending champions of the event.

The 2004 Las Vegas Bracket Nationals also will hold a special winner-take-all Gambler Race on Nov. 27, with a $1,000 entry fee. 

Racers may save money by entering in advance: $200 for Super Pro, $100 for Pro and $75 for Street/Sport Compact.  Late entry fees (entries not received by the Nov. 20 deadline) are: $300 for Super Pro, $200 for Pro and $125 for Street/Sport Compact.

There is no fee for racer camping and there are no hidden gate fees.

Contingency awards and trophies are provided by sanction sponsor B&M and Hedman Hedders.

Spectator admission is $20 per day for adults.  A weekend pass for kids 6-12 is $15 and children 5 and under are free.  Advance crew weekend credentials are $60 each or $70 after Nov. 20.
