A three-day run drag racing at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway came to an end at 11:10 p.m. Saturday.  The Strip's busy weekend included the following series:  Thursday Night Street Wars, GlobePC.com Show ?n? Go Friday, Meadow Gold NHRA Jr. Dragster Series Presented By Short Line Express Markets and Jerry?s Nugget Championship Drag Racing Series

On Thursday evening, The Strip conducted its third session of Thursday Night Street Wars, a program designed to attract illegal street racers to the safer confines of the organized drag strip.  Brian Bahl of Boulder City won the final round of Street Wars competition to claim the $100 prize.

GlobePC.com Show 'n' Go Friday winners included: Charlie Boyd (Open Comp), Robert Godicin of the USAF (American Hero), Chris Naffziger (Super Quick), Kayla Sewell of Basic High School in Henderson (High School), Jon Whittington (Pure Stock), Colt Dwyer (Bracket Gambler) and Jett Dwyer (Jr. Dragster Run-for-the-Prize).

Saturday winners in the Jerry's Nugget Championship Drag Racing Series included: Chris Naffziger (Super Pro, on a perfect reaction time of .000), Michael Jackson (Pro), Las Vegas police officer Kyle Hirschi (Street), Leo Shaver (Motorcycle) and Billy Fraker (Sport Compact).  Robin Harris, Vince Terrano and Lisa Niswonger were Run-for-the-Money winners.

Jerry's Nugget Reaction Time Bonus Awards were won by Bob Moudree (Pro), Shawn Lavery (Super Pro, for the second consecutive week), Leo Shaver (Motorcycle), Kayla Sewell (Street) and Billy Fraker (Sport Compact).  The award -- $25 toward anything in the casino -- is won by posting the best reaction time on a winning run in the first round of eliminations.  All final-round winners also received $20 gift certificates from Uncle Angelo's Pizza Joint, located inside Jerry's Nugget Casino.

Saturday morning winners in the Meadow Gold NHRA Jr. Dragster Series Presented By Short Line Express Markets were Frank Randell (Thunder, for the second consecutive week) and Jett Dwyer (Lightning).
