It's 2:30 a.m. - do you know where your children are?  If you're in Las Vegas, they probably were at The Strip, watching the PSCA Pro Street finale.

The Pacific Street Car Association's Labor Day Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway wound up in the wee hours on Monday morning and they saved the best for last.  Giuseppe Gentile of Sun Valley, Calif., defeated John Mihovetz of Ontario, Calif., to win the Pro Street class and also turned in the fastest speed of the night: 228.50 mph (at 6.349 sec.).

Queens, N.Y., native Carl Cannavo now lives in Las Vegas and he scored the Bracket 1 win over Jerry Hors of Calif., 8.065 sec./172.74 mph to 8.959 sec./152.99.

Jon Irving of Boulder City won the Trophy class over Randy Hadtrath of South Gate, Calif.

Ron Weems of Riverside, Calif., was victorious over Rich Zehring of San Jose in the Outlaw Street class - a competition that saw the speed record broken no less than four times during eliminations.

Roger Holder of Bakersfield won the Extreme Drag Radial class over El Segundo's Bobby Frye.

Gary Brandt of Palmdale, Calif., defeated Craig Williams of L.A. in the final round of Limited Street eliminations.

Daniel Bott of Carefree, Ariz., won the Hot Street class.

The Mean Street final was claimed by Mike Nordahl of Fontana, Calif. He defeated Charles Jorgensen of Wildomar, Calif. Nordahl scored again in the Open Comp division, defeating Jack Gottfried of Rosamond, Calif., for the title.

Chris Groves of Albuquerque, N.M., defeated Levi Hanna of Cypress, Calif., for Wild Street honors.

The Super Street trophy went to Brian Rogers of Corona, Calif., who defeated Irvine, Calif., native Doug Crumlich.

Ray Kinney (Rosamond, Calif.) topped Caleb Hunter (Palmdale, Calif.) for Quick Street honors.
