Officials from The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and the Arm Drop Live! Racing Association today announced that the Rich Christensen Arm Drop Live! TV show event originally scheduled for November 4-5, 2008, has been postponed due to the host's television filming schedule.  The SPEED TV show series will kick off its 2009 season in Las Vegas on a date to be announced next month.

"Due to the immense popularity of Rich's other show, PINKS, SPEED has added more production dates for 2008 that would make it extremely difficult for us to have the Arm Drop Live! event in Las Vegas on Nov. 4-5," said Christensen.  "The staff at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and I agreed that Las Vegas would be the perfect location to kick off the 2009 Arm Drop Live! season.  Trust me, the two- month wait will be well worth it for our die-hard fans and racers."

The Strip has expanded the schedule for the seventh annual Las Vegas Bracket Nationals to include a new Thanksgiving Eve event to be known as "The Wildest Wednesday," on Nov. 26.  The event will include a Super Quick competition, exhibition nostalgia drag racing, a motorcycle stunt team and match racing.
