The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway hosted a celebration of life for Jason Dubs on Saturday, Jan. 9. 

Jason was involved in an accident on Nellis Blvd. in Las Vegas on the evening of Monday, Jan. 4, and later succumbed to his injuries.

Jason John Dubs, 37, was a native of Freeport, Ill.  He was been member of the starting-line team and a track preparation specialist for The Strip at LVMS since 2003. Jason also was regarded in the motorsports industry as one of the premier racing track preparation specialists. He also worked part-time at Belfab Racing in Las Vegas and has constructed a number of race cars for oval-track and drag-racing competition.
