A talented group of 33 junior dragsters did a great job representing The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway last weekend at the NHRA Jr. Drag Racing Western Conference Finals, with a number of them taking home awards at the three-day event.

The Strip's "Neon Nitro" team claimed the Team Spirit Award, three drivers advanced to the finals of their age brackets and LVMS racers took home a variety of honors at Rocky Mountain Raceways in West Valley City, Utah.

Thursday, July 16 - Lucas Oil Age Group Race
This specialty race featured an all-Team Vegas final in the 14-year-old age bracket.

Friday, July 17 - Top of the Mountain
Each age group raced, and then the winner and runner-up from each age group all raced against each other to determine a winner in this specialty race.
