Drag racers will be gunning for a heap of cash at the fourth and fifth installments of the 2016 ET Bracket Series March 12-13 at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway thanks to Silver State Plumbing.
Silver State Plumbing owner Shane Thompson, who races at The Strip with his two daughters, is adding a total of $8,000 in bonuses for the two bracket series events. Super Pro class winners will receive a $2,500 bonus each day courtesy of the company, with Pro division winners getting $1,000 daily bonuses and $500 in additional money going to each day's Sportsman class champions.
"This is a great boost for our bracket series, and thanks to Shane, our competitors will be able to run for big pay days next month," said Jeff Foster, The Strip's director of operations. "We're very proud of our bracket events, and these bonuses will go a long way in generating interest for the program."
The 12-race E.T. Bracket Series points season began on Jan. 24 and continues through Sept. 18. The LVMS Jr. Dragster Series opens its 10-race season on Feb. 28 at The Strip.
