The annual Rockabilly Rod Reunion and NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Series will take place this weekend (May 27-29) at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The legendary music-and-car fest features rockabilly bands, 20 nostalgia Funny Cars, pin-up celebrity Sabina Kelly, a pre-1965 traditional car show, nostalgia drag racing, hot rods, cool customs and a pin-up girl contest.

The Strip will hold a non-points race for members on Saturday night. The race is open only to LVMS bracket and Jr. Dragster members and all participants must hold a valid membership. Gates for bracket racers and Jr. Dragsters will open at 4 p.m. Tech inspection will begin at 5:30 p.m. Time trials (two per car) will start at 6 p.m., immediately following Nostalgia Funny Car qualifying.

At 7 p.m., a benefit cruise down the drag strip will take place, with all proceeds going to the Bo Huff Cancer Fund. Entry is $20.

Bracket and Jr. Dragster eliminations will begin at 7:30 p.m. Final-round winners will receive an LVMS trophy and one case of Lucas racing oil. Entry fee for car and driver (members only) is $30. Crew passes (maximum three per car after 4 p.m.) are $12.
