Results from the Wicked HP Series meet of Sept. 4

Robin Harris defeated Roget Kato in the NHRA King-of-the-Track event. The event paired the 2010 Wicked HP Series track champions vs. the winners of the Aug. 27 Wicked HP Series event (the wild card race) to determine the overall LVMS King of the Track and the opportunity to earn an NHRA championship "Wally" trophy. Robin advanced two rounds before facing off against 2010 Super Pro Champion Roget Kato in the final. Harris clinched the win over Kato, 10.049 sec. to 10.059 sec.

Thomas Bayer of Fontana, Calif. defeated Russ Stryker of Truxton, Ariz. for Super Pro honors, 8.240 sec./154.69 mph to 8.496 sec./155.76 mph.

Robin Harris of Las Vegas drove his 1966 Nova to victory over Paul Wong of Las Vegas in the final round of Pro eliminations, 10.329 sec./128.15 mph to 13.036 sec./101.81 mph.

Scott Parsons of Monroe, Utah drove his 1967 Cutlass to victory lane in the Sportsman final over Boulder City's John Irving Sr., 12.264 sec./104.09 mph to 13.546 sec./96.24 mph.

Jeremy Bates of Orem, Utah rode to victory over Gary Oaks of Las Vegas in the final round of Motorcycle competition. Bates’ 2005 Yamaha ran 10.563 sec./136.11 mph to 10.013 sec./124.93 mph.

The Duck Race, a consolation event for racers who were eliminated during the first or second round, was won by Greg Hicks over Justin King.

Results from the Short Line Express Markets Jr. Dragster Series meet of Sept. 4

Brittney Schmidt of Golden Valley Ariz. posted a 8.196 sec./72.52 mph run defeating Trey Vetter in the final round of the Lightning class.

Gabrielle Schmidt of Golden Valley, Ariz. defeated Zakery Grosz of Las Vegas in the final round of the Thunder class, 8.963 sec./72.45 mph to 9.646 sec./69.53 mph.

Due to a rain delay on Monday, Sept. 5 eliminations for the Short Line Express Markets Jr. Dragster Series will be concluded on Sunday, Sept. 18.

2010 Super Pro champion Roger Kato of North Las Vegas defeated Bob Farnum of Las Vegas for the Super Pro title, 10.069 sec./150.26 mph to 8.001 sec./169.19 mph.

Lloyd Machey of Cedar Grove, N.J. posted a 11.967 sec./111.08 mph run to win the Pro Class over Scott Horsley.

Leo Shaver of Las Vegas defeated Kahea Woods to claim the Motorcycle title, 9.622 sec./135.85 mph to 8.728 sec./151.92 mph.

Jon Irving of Boulder City defeated Scott Parsons of Monroe, Utah for the Sportsman honors, 12.677 sec./102.83 mph to 12.254 sec./107.69 mph.

Garrett Parsons of Monroe, Utah defeated Jordan Savoy of Las Vegas for the High School class title, 12.168 sec./109.96 mph to 15.573 sec./89.35 mph.

Jake Miller of Kingman, Ariz. defeated Gunnar Boelman of Diamond Bar, Calif for the Lightning class title, 7.948 sec./80.66 mph to 7.967 sec./82.67 mph.

Cody Parsons of Monroe, Utah defeated Emma Deuschle of Palmdale, Calif. to claim the Thunder class title, 8.950 sec./71.10 mph to 8.992 sec./73.93 mph.
