Henderson, Nev., drag racers Justin Lamb and Trey Vetter celebrated Memorial Day weekend with victories at the third annual Figspeed West Coast Classic at Auto Club Dragway in Fontana, Calif.

Lamb, a two-time Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series national champion, drove his Chevy Cobalt to the Super Stock division title over Ryan Houmard thanks to an .008 reaction time and 8.773-second pass. He also advanced to the semifinals in the Lucas Oil Pro competition.

Vetter won the $3,000 Lucas Oil Pro race in his 1977 Nova, beating Tom Patten and his 1967 Nova in the final.

More than $145,000 in cash and special prizes were awarded at the event, which ran from Friday through Sunday.
