Mike Maggio of San Dimas, Calif., continued his domination of the Pro Street class by winning the Pacific Street Car Association’s Lucas Oil Slik Mist Drags Sunday afternoon. Maggio defeated John Scialpi of Phelan, Calif. in the final round with a pass of 6.155 sec./237.38 mph. Maggio also posted the best elapsed time (6.155 sec.) and top speed (237.55 mph) of the two-day meet. To face each other in the final round, Maggio defeated Troy Cafaro of Las Vegas and Scialpi trailered Jim Knight of Phoenix.

The Las Vegas husband-wife racing team of John and Becky Phlegar scored twice this weekend. John defeated Jason Dawson in the Top Comp final and Becky eliminated Keith Winters for Bracket 1 honors.

The Phlegars were not the only local racers to taste victory at the 17-class PSCA event. Jason Kenzevitch of Pahrump defeated Rick Hatch of Riverside, Calif. in the Outlaw 8.5 category. Justen Spencer of Las Vegas won the Mustang Madness finale over Kelly Davis of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. Dak Spears of Las Vegas took the Open Comp win over Mike Nordahl of Fontana, Calif. Scott Parsons of Monroe, Utah won the Street Muscle final when opponent Heather Martin of Las Vegas fouled on the starting line. Josh Gagnon of Las Vegas defeated Jessica Payne of Henderson for Jr. Dragster 8-12 honors. Adrienne Markham won the Jr. Dragster 13-18 final over Ryan Houmard of San Dimas, Calif.

Outlaw 10.5: Doug Sikora of Apple Valley, Calif. defeated Ron Weems of Riverside, Calif.

Extreme Drag Radial: Rich Hoyle of Palmdale, Calif. defeated Johnny Coleman of Lakewood, Calif.

Hot Street: Tony Aneian of North Hollywood, Calif. defeated Rod DeWild of Thornton, Colo.

Street Challenge: Jerry Crain of Barstow, Calif. singled in the final.

Super Street: Randy Kersey of Moreno Valley, Calif. defeated Doug Carter of Henderson.

Quick Street: Randy Kersey of lake Havasu City, Ariz. defeated Dak Spears of Las Vegas.

Mean Street: Daniel Marciano of Alta Loma, Calif. defeated Neil Evans of Las Vegas.
