Mike Miller of N. Las Vegas defeated Keith Winters of Las Vegas in tonight’s final round of Super Pro Eliminations to take the T.R.E. Bracket Series trophy and winner’s check. Miller’s 1979 Camaro delivered a stellar .006 reaction time to take the win over Winters’ dragster.

Dwight Machael of Las Vegas defeated Neil Evans in the Pro final.

Jon Irving of Boulder City won the Sportsman final over Steve Winters of Las Vegas.

Dennis Sacco of N. Las Vegas triumphed in the Motorcycle final over Leo Shaver.

Tom Skaggs of Henderson won the Corvette Club final over Cathy Wilson.

In Short Line Express Markets Jr. Dragster competition, Keoki Desa of Las Vegas won and “runnered-up” in the Jr. Thunder class. She won the first final over Peyton Januik of Las Vegas and was defeated by Josh Gagnon of Las Vegas in the second final of the doubleheader.

Jeffrey Lingle of Las Vegas defeated Matthew Rust of Kingman, Ariz. in the first Jr. Lightning final. The second Jr. Thunder final was won by Trey Vetter of Henderson over Gabrielle Schmidt of Golden Valley, Ariz.

Car Club Clash and grudge drag racing
Wednesday, May 9
4 p.m. – Racer gates open.
4:30 p.m. – Tech inspection.
5-10 p.m. – Time trials and grudge drags.
9 p.m. – Club eliminations, bracket gambler.
10:15 p.m. – King-of-the-Clubs finale (winner from each club races for trophy and product awards).
10:30 p.m. – Finish eliminations.
11 p.m. – Secure track.

Racer entry fee: $30.
Crew or spectator pass: $12.
Kids 13 and under: Free.
Additional vehicle pit parking pass: $10.

Car Club Drags
Car clubs that sign in at tech with least 10 people prior to 8:30 p.m. will be eligible to race in their own bracket eliminator for a chance to win an LVMS “Christmas tree” trophy and product awards. Groups that do not have at least 10 people are eligible to compete in the “lone wolf” club elimination for a chance to win an LVMS “Christmas tree” trophy and product awards. A Bracket Gambler will be offered for a $20 buy-in with 100% payback. Money will be collected in the staging lanes prior to Round 1. The winner from each club eliminator will be eligible to compete in the “King-of-Clubs” finale for a chance to win an LVMS hat and jacket. All racing will be contested on a .5 full tree, bracket-style eliminations. Open to all cars running 10 seconds and slower.
