The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway has been selected to host this year’s NHRA Pacific Division E.T. Finals Sept. 29-Oct. 2. The event was originally scheduled for Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, but construction at the California facility necessitated the venue change.

“We’ve been fortunate enough to host the NHRA E.T. Finals on two separate occasions since our facility opened in 2000 and they have been some of the most talked about E.T. Finals events in the history of the program,” said LVMS vice president of racing operations Chris Blair. “The staff and management of Las Vegas Motor Speedway, as well as the members of Team Las Vegas, are very excited to host this year’s event and hope to make it a truly enjoyable experience for the several hundred racers that will be joining us this fall.”

The NHRA Pacific Division E.T. Finals is the championship finals for E.T. Bracket racers from 16 tracks in NHRA’s Division 7. The tracks compete for a team championship while individual racers compete for the overall division championship and a chance to compete at Pomona for the NHRA Summit E.T. National Championship against winners from the other seven NHRA Divisions.
