For the third time in as many races, weather interfered with racing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The July 3 Night of Fire at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway was delayed by rain, Friday’s Dodge Midnight Mayhem at The Strip at LVMS was cancelled due to weather and tonight’s Wicked HP Series meet was set back by a downpour.

Saturday night’s event, scheduled to start late due to the summer desert heat, was pushed back into the wee hours of the morning by a thunderstorm. Consequently, the final pair of cars went down the drag strip at 3:57 a.m. PDT.
