Gearing Up for Battle of the Imports at LVMS

Hey everyone, my name is Chris Rado and I'm the driver of the 1800 hp PRO FWD WORLD Racing drag Scion tC. For those of you who are unfamiliar with me and my team, WORLD Racing, we are a professional drag race, time attack, and show circuit team that has been participating heavily in the motorsports scene for about ten years now.

This upcoming weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway marks my third Battle of the Imports event of this year, and I cannot even express how excited I am for this event. We took 1st place at Battle of the Imports at Englishtown Raceway back in early June, then 2nd place at BOTI at MIR just a few weeks ago, so you can definitely bet we are aiming for another podium finish this weekend - preferable 1st place.

The WORLD Racing team has been working around the clock to prepare our machine for battle. We are confident that we are prepared mentally, physically, and technologically to be the team to watch out for in Las Vegas. The last time we ran this track was exactly a year ago when NHRA teamed up with D1GP for the great event. This year I expect another great event with Battle of the Imports teaming up with Formula D to put on an awesome event for us competitors and for the fans.

I hope that everyone who reads this can make the event this weekend at LVMS and stop by the WORLD Racing pit to say "what up!" to me and the guys. I'm looking forward to a great event, and hopefully a 1st place win! See you at the track!
