Getting Ready for the Holidays

Monday, December 15, 2008

Hello! How is everyone's week going?

My week has been pretty much amazing. I've been doing really well in school and I got to see all of my friends over the weekend. The only disapointment I had was that I didn't get to go to Havasu and race. But, my car wasn't finished from the last race and was not in shape to race. It's okay though, there are always other races. If it weren't for my wonderful Aunt Donna and my Uncle Wayne and friends working their butts off every night trying to get everything fixed and ready to race, I don't know what I would do. I am really glad I have someone that would do all of that for me so that I can race and do what I love.

I can't wait until winter break gets here this Friday! Then, I'm on my way to Moapa to visit my aunt, then to Arizona to visit my grandpa for Christmas. After traveling to Arizona, I'm going to my racing partner Amanda Gubler's house and staying up there for the rest of the break, including celebrating New Year's with her. I'm going to be doing a lot of stuff this break and will be really busy. Hopefully the holiday is a good one. I hope everyone has a FANTASTIC Christmas!

the new bracket schedule SUCKS, the local program is being reset for the people who don't live in the valley. the saturday night then sunday morning races will force out most of the racers who have familys, this has always been a great, tight community of people whos kids grew up at the track on saturday nights, racing on sunday morning will stop most of the "little guy" racers from competeing and will promote "travelers" instead of locals. please speak your mind to the powers that be. If you feel the new schedule is the best for us let it be known. I feel is sucks.go back to the saturday night races. if you promote the bracket races and well as you dothe midnight madness and bullring you my even make some money form ticket sales and teach the next generation of kids what the sport is realy all about.

I am Cheyanne's cousin. I love to go watch her race with my father and friends. I'm proud to wear the #88 t-shirt. Merry Christmas and see you at the track.
