From the Starter's Stand: First Weekend of Racing at The Strip

Who is ready for racing to start? I definitely am!! This past weekend was a little bit of a small nudge back into the groove of things. I worked over at The Strip and the weather was beautiful. This weekend is the first Midnight Mayhem Presented by MetroPCS and PSCA Testing will be going on all weekend. It looks like it will be another beautiful weekend in the Valley. I can't wait to get back over to the Bullring!!

It is just a little over a month away and the NASCAR race weekend will be here!! There will be so much racing that it might make your head spin! World of Outlaws and USAC at the Dirt Track, and the NASCAR Nationwide and Sprint Cup Series races. Who could ask for more?!

yes im ready for racing but it seems that being a loyal las vegas race fan since the 2nd year it is disappointing to me to hear that the speedway is refusing to issue tickets to many of us that have already payed just because are travel agent has had a hard time selling all the packages.It seems to me that NO ONE is selling everything.i think this is a shame being that i travel to the race from seattle every year with at least 25 to 35 people who all use this service.

Bones, Section 3 is a great section to watch the race in. But I do have to admit that one of the best places to watch the race is from either the Richard Petty Terrace or the Dale Earnhardt Terrace. Either way, you will see a great race from wherever you decide to get your seats. Enjoy the races! Thanks for your comment, Alicia

Would you suggest taking stadium seats for the NASCAR race on March 1st 2009? Our seats are in section 3- white area. Thanks
