Brooke, a local racer at The Strip, has been racing at the track for two
full seasons. During her first year of racing, Brooke ended up third in
the points and last year won the NHRA Division 7 race. Her father, Jon
Wakenhut and her sister Kylie, also race at LVMS.

Rained-out racing last weekend

Are you serious? Why did it have to rain last weekend? The first race of the season was cancelled on Friday, and we were so excited to start the season. Oh well, we can't control the weather (I wish we could).
Most of the racing was rescheduled for this weekend.
I haven't only been dealing with getting ready for the racing season. I've also been planning for my 12th birthday party this Sunday. We are going to the movies and then having a sleepover. Sometimes it is hard to plan for something so simple!
