Mothers to be honored at the Bullring Mother¿s Day weekend

Las Vegas Motor Speedway will honor all mothers at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Saturday in honor of the Mother¿s Day weekend. Expectant mothers will receive free admission to the Bullring. In addition, 500 carnations will be handed out at the spectator gates.

Saturday marks the fifth edition of the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Racing Series. Super Late Models return after a one-week break for a 50-lap feature event. Quality Motorsports driver Justin Martz won the last race on April 24 and his teammate Mike Ray leads the division point standings.

Late Models (25 laps), Legends Cars (25 laps), Thunder Roadsters (25 laps), Bandolero Cars (15 laps) and 7-Eleven Bullring Bombers (40 laps) also are on the racing card.

Young race fans (5-12 years of age) can sign up for the Kids Club for just $5 and receive the following: picture id card, free admission to select Bullring events, newsletter, Pit Crew Club member kit (lunch bag, bag tag, pennant, Pit Boss hero card, temporary tattoos) and the chance to be a crew chief for the night.

Spectator gates open at 6 p.m. Qualifying is set for 6:20 with racing at 7:15.

General admission is $11 for adults, $9 for senior citizens/ military personnel and $4 for children 6-12. Children five and under are free. A Family Four Pack can be purchased for $24. Admission to the Stockyard is $36 per vehicle (up to four people).

Pit gates open at 3:30 p.m. Admission is $20 for NASCAR members and $25 for non-members.
