The local E.T. bracket series at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway has a new title sponsor: Wicked HP. The 11-race series will be known as the Wicked HP E.T. Bracket Championship Series and will carry a year-end points fund of $11,000, in addition to a variety of bonus programs throughout the season. The series kicks off March 14-15 at The Strip at LVMS.
The 2009 Short Line Express/Chevron Jr. Dragster Racing Series will consist of 12 races. The participant's nine (9) best finishes in the 12 races will count toward the title. In the event that a race meet is cancelled due to any reason, the race will not be rescheduled and an adjustment will be made to the points program at the sole discretion of the track director.
Officials for The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Auto Club Dragway in Fontana, Calif., and the National Hot Rod Association's Pacific Division announced a major schedule change today for the NHRA's 2009 Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series.
