The Las Vegas Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities will host its 10th annual golf tournament, Drive for Charity, on Monday, June 4 at the exclusive Canyon Gate Country Club.
The tournament, played under a shotgun start shamble format, will begin at 8 a.m.
ESPN and ABC NASCAR pit reporter Jamie Little will serve as the honorary chairperson.
The event is sponsored by ESPN Radio Las Vegas, the Cannery Hotel & Casino, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Vector Las Vegas.
Entry fee is $600 per foursome (or $150 for individuals) and includes golf cart, unlimited range balls, continental breakfast, awards lunch, golf shirt and gift bag. Tee sponsorships are available for $400 each.
All proceeds from Drive for Charity will benefit the Las Vegas Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities. Making a difference in a child's life is the focus of Speedway Children's Charities. SCC strives to do this in collaboration with the non-profit organizations it supports nationwide. Individually, SCC's local chapters identify the needs of children in their communities and award grants to organizations that address them. Last December, the Las Vegas Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities granted $260,000 to 46 local children's causes during its annual grant distribution ceremony.
