NASCAR Winston Cup Series star Rusty Wallace has joined a growing list of NASCAR drivers who will appear in Las Vegas Motor Speedway¿s SpeedZone Fan Hospitality Area during the UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400/Sam¿s Town 300 NASCAR Weekend.

Wallace, driver of the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge, will appear on either Saturday or Sunday morning. Wallace joins Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Las Vegas Kurt Busch among those committed to appear in Speed Zone. Other drivers will be announced over the next several weeks.

Wallace will spend 15 minutes in the hospitality area answering questions from fans who purchase the Speed Zone package.  In addition to the drivers appearances, SpeedZone attendees will receive a pre-race pit tour, continental breakfast, lunch entrée, dessert, a preferred parking pass, a closed circuit TV feed of the racing action and non-alcoholic beverages.

A two-day SpeedZone package is available for $149. Daily cost of the SpeedZone is $79 on Saturday, March 1 and $99 on Sunday, March 2. Race fans can purchase the SpeedZone by calling the speedway at 1-800-644-4444 ext. 8285. Tickets to the UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400 are going fast, but good seats remain by calling the speedway ticket office at 1-800-644-4444 or logging on to LVMS.com.

The UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400 is scheduled for Sunday, March 2. It will be preceded by the Sam¿s Town 300 NASCAR Busch Series event on Saturday, March 1. Qualifying for both events is slated for Friday, Feb. 28. In addition, there will be a 100-lap Super Late Model event on the Bullring on Thursday, Feb. 27 and the World of Outlaws will compete on the half-mile dirt track Friday and Saturday.
