LVMS to dedicate Earnhardt Terrace on Friday

 

            Las Vegas Motor Speedway has honored the memory of seven-time NASCAR champion Dale Earnhardt with the construction of the 22,000-seat Dale Earnhardt Terrace.

            On Friday, March 5, the speedway will dedicate the Earnhardt Terrace by unveiling a monument in the midway area behind the grandstands that will be an everlasting tribute to Earnhardt.

            Bruton Smith, the chairman of Speedway Motorsports, Earnhardt¿s widow, Teresa Earnhardt and LVMS general manager Chris Powell will take part in the dedication at 1:30 p.m. Pacific Time on Friday.

            All race fans attending Pole Day for the UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400 and Sam¿s Town 300 are invited to attend.
