Reality TV couple Rob and Amber Mariano and professional poker player  Daniel "The Kid" Negreanu spent Tuesday morning at Las Vegas Motor Speedway participating in the Richard Petty Driving Experience.

The couple is in town filming for their new FOX Reality show, "Rob & Amber: Against the Odds" that will air in January.  The show will focus on their life after marriage.

"We are in Las Vegas for a couple of months while we wrap up filming for our new reality show," Amber said.  "Daniel is teaching my husband to play poker and we are trying to experience everything Las Vegas has to offer.   We heard this is one of them."

Amber rode in the passenger seat with a driving instructor for a ride-along.

"It was like an awesome roller coaster," she continued. "I wasn't scared at all. They said we made three laps but we were going so fast it felt like one."

Rob climbed behind the wheel of a race car for the driving experience.

"At first I was afraid the car was going to come out from under me," Rob said.  "After I made a couple of laps, I gunned it."

Rob and Amber are best known as the sweetheart contestants from "Survivor: All Stars."   Amber won the million dollar prize and Rob was the runner-up after the two formed an alliance.  Rob proposed to Amber during the live finale of the show in May 2004.  Rob and Amber also competed in "The Amazing Race" in 2005.
