Race fans are invited to watch NASCAR's new "Gen6" Sprint Cup Series cars test at LVMS on Thursday, March 7. The grandstands will be open, free of charge, to the public.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series practice session, originally scheduled for late January, was moved to Thursday, March 7.  Practice will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

NASCAR Weekend racing at the superspeedway begins on Friday, March 8 with Stratosphere Pole Day. The NASCAR Nationwide Series takes center stage on Saturday, March 9 with the annual Sam’s Town 300 at 1:15 p.m. The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Kobalt Tools 400 is scheduled to start at noon on Sunday, March 11.

The extended race weekend begins Wednesday, March 6 with World of Outlaws STP Sprint Cars on LVMS’s half-mile Dirt Track.
