Nigel Lamb of Britain, who scored his lone Red Bull Air Race World Championship victory of the season in Malaysia in May and is tied for second in points in the season standings, is a 2-1 favorite to win this weekend's Master class race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Hannes Arch of Austria, who is tied with Lamb going into the seventh race of the eight-race series, is the second favorite at 5-2, according to odds posted by MGM Resorts International Race & Sports oddsmakers.

Red Bull Air Race World Championship points leader Paul Bonhomme of Britain and Nicolas Ivanoff of France, the series' most recent winner, are listed at 9-2 odds to win the inaugural event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Bonhomme holds a slim 1-point lead over Arch and Lamb.

American pilots Kirby Chambliss and Michael Goulian are listed at 20-1 and 35-1, respectively.

The Red Bull Air Race World Championship kicks off Saturday with practice in the Challenger Cup and Master classes, the Challenger Cup race and Master class qualifying. Sunday's program features competition in the Master class. Gates open at 10 a.m. both days.
