Dylan Kwasniewski, who made the jump from The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway to the NASCAR Nationwide Series, will return to his racing roots this weekend when he competes in the Fall Classic featuring the Open Comp 150 on his hometown 3/8-mile paved oval.

Kwasniewski will be joined in the field for the Open Comp 150 by 2013 Bullring Super Late Model champion Jay Beasley, who just completed his rookie season in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East Series, recently crowned Bullring Super Late Model champion Scott Gafforini and up-and-coming driver Chris Trickle.

Kwasniewski will attempt to qualify for Saturday night's $10,000-to-win, 150-lap NASCAR Super Late Model feature race in a car prepared by Phil's Phabrication of Las Vegas. Other divisions competing Friday and Saturday include NASCAR Late Models, Super Stocks and Bombers, USAC HPD Midgets, Southwest Tour Trucks and Bandoleros.

Kwasniewski, 19, won Legend Car track championships at The Bullring in 2008 and 2009 before moving up to the NASCAR K&N Pro Series, where he was the West champion in 2012 and the East champion in 2013. This season, Kwasniewski is driving the No. 31 Chevrolet for Turner Scott Motorsports in the Nationwide Series. After 30 races, Kwasniewski is 11th in points and has posted three top-10 finishes.

Beasley posted eight Super Late Model wins last season en route to the track championship and capped his season with a victory in the $10,000 Open Comp at the Fall Classic. He earned a fulltime ride in the K&N Pro Series East this season, where he finished 13th in points with four top-10 finishes in 16 starts.

Gafforini is coming off a banner season in which he won six feature races and claimed his fifth track championship. He also won the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Nevada state championship and, with 57 career victories at The Bullring, will be considered one of the pre-race favorites to claim the $10,000 first-place check on Saturday night.

Trickle, 14, made his first start in the Super Late Model division on Aug. 30 and finished sixth. He drove to a third-place finish in his second start two weeks later and capped the season with his first victory in the division on Oct. 4. Trickle, the grandson of former Bullring track champion Chuck Trickle, is the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Rookie of the Year in Nevada and was the youngest driver to win a NASCAR-sanctioned race in 2014.

Spectator gates will open at 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday, qualifying begins at 4:30 Friday and heat races begin at 4:15 Saturday.

The Bullring is one of the best entertainment values in Southern Nevada with affordable ticket prices and family-friendly concession prices including $1 hot dogs, $1 Coca-Cola products and $2 Budweiser beer. Tickets can be purchased at the gate or in advance by visiting or calling the LVMS ticket office at (702) 644-4444 or online at www.lvms.com. Discounted tickets are available with advance purchase.
