Extending relationships that have proven to be some of the strongest in all of NASCAR, Las Vegas Motor Speedway officials announced today that Lowe's Companies Inc. and Stratosphere Casino Hotel & Tower have agreed to multi-year deals to remain the title sponsors of the Kobalt 400 NASCAR Sprint Sup Series race and Stratosphere Pole Day.

"Kobalt has been the title sponsor of the Sprint Cup Series race here in Las Vegas for the past five years, and we are proud to continue our longtime support of NASCAR," said Lawrence Lobpries, vice president of consumer marketing at Lowe's. "We are looking forward to a great race this weekend and hope to see the Kobalt Chevrolet in Victory Lane with Team 48 on Sunday."

The Kobalt 400 has run at the 1.5-mile tri-oval since the partnership began in 2011, garnering some of the top attendance figures and television ratings in the sport. The event has featured some of the most competitive on-track racing on the circuit without a single repeat winner under the Kobalt moniker. Stratosphere has sponsored Pole Day for the past five years and has been part of many memorable moments including Joey Logano's track qualifying record set in 2014.
