Las Vegas' Jason Kiser earned more than a race victory with his NASCAR Super Stocks feature win at The Bullring on the night of May 16.

The reigning class champion catapulted into the season points lead with his win - the 15th of his career at Las Vegas Motor Speedway's 3/8-mile paved oval - and now leads the division with 210 points. Matt Larsen, who finished second, is 11 points behind, while former points leader Phil Goodwin missed the May 16 race with a back injury and fell to fifth with 160 points.

Meanwhile, five-time track champion Scott Gafforini widened his NASCAR Super Late Models points lead with another feature victory, and he holds a 25-point advantage (256-231) over Barry Karr. Peyton Saxton also used a victory to widen his lead in the USLCI Legends Pro division and stands 64 points ahead of Bryan Grandin with a 298-234 margin.

Cameron Morga, whom Saxton passed in turn four on the final lap, expanded his USLCI Legends Young Lions class points lead over Caden Carlin to 350-276. Gina Tillman (USLCI Legends Master) and Devin Lane (USLCI Legends Semi-Pro) also maintained their divisional points leads.

The USLCI O'Hanley's Bandolero standings remained tight, with Kyle Jacks holding a four-point advantage over Philip Root in the Outlaws division and R.J. Smotherman using another victory to stay ahead of Ethan DeGuevara, 348-326.

NASCAR Bombers and Grand American Modifieds, as well as the USLCI Thunder Cars, did not run on May 16, and their points standings remained unchanged.

The NASCAR Whelen All-American Series resumes on Saturday, May 30, with Hometown Heroes Night Presented by K&N Filters. All local police officers, firefighters and emergency services personnel and their families will be admitted free with a valid ID.

NASCAR Super Late Models, Bombers and Super Stocks, as well as USLCI Thunder Cars, Legend Cars and O'Hanley's Bandoleros, will join the USAC HPD Midgets on the track that night.
