Roger Kato of North Las Vegas continued his early-season roll with a pair of Super Pro victories over the weekend in local bracket racing at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Kato defeated Jennifer Wiens of Las Vegas in Saturday's Super Pro final and then beat Carl Cannavo of Las Vegas in Sunday's final for his third consecutive victory of the season. Kato, who was the No. 1 qualifier both days, opened the season with a runner-up finish and now has advanced to all four finals this year.

Cody Webber defeated No. 1 qualifier Michael Avitable in a showdown of two Kingman, Ariz., residents in Saturday's Pro final and Phil Garrison of Flagstaff, Ariz., knocked off top qualifier Scott Machael of Las Vegas in Sunday's final.

Rick Emanuel defeated fellow Las Vegan Sal Cachia in Saturday's Sportsman final while Henderson's Tristan Craig beat top qualifier Dave Muller of Mesa, Ariz., in Sunday's final.

Kahea Woods beat Gary Oaks in an all-Las Vegas Motorcycle final on Saturday and Gaige Herrera of La Mirada, Calif., defeated Justin King of Henderson in Sunday's final.

In Jr. Dragster competition, Las Vegans Keoki Desa (Saturday) and Reilly Garceau (Sunday) won the Thunder class titles while Josh Gagnon of Las Vegas (Saturday) and Trey Vetter of Henderson (Sunday) were the Lightning class winners.

8 p.m. - Racer gates open, credential sales open, tech opens.           

8:30 p.m. - Spectator sales, spectator gates open.

9 p.m. - Midnight Mayhem racing (staging lanes will close at 1:45 a.m.).

10 p.m. - Showcase run #1.

11:30 p.m. - Showcase run #2.

1 a.m. - Showcase run #3.
